We already pay for those costs. ER and hospitals cant turn them away. Hospitals write off and shift costs to other revenue streams.

No one illegal can collect public assistance even though they pay more taxes because they dont get refunds. Even legal residents cant get public assistance until they have worked paying taxes legally for 5 years.

If they are legal they are paying taxes and for public education. Regan administration passed a bill that requires hospitals to treat emergency cases even though they have no insurance. The hospitals file a claim with the government for payment.

Like a legal immigrant would be one who has legally became a Citizen in which case your just like everyone else go buy some insurance. All other types of legal visitors should be covered under their country’s medical coverage laws.
