Actually, this should be clarified, not assumed. Many dads are physically present but the mom is still on duty taking care of the kids...and him! If she was guaranteed a few hours to herself, that could make a big difference in family dynamics. Not every woman wants to go clubbing with her friends. Maybe she needs the peace of getting a manicure and pedicure uninterrupted or having a nice lunch without making sure a child eats first. It can make all the difference in the world to the mom's attitude and energy level. Take it from an older woman. Hindsight is 20/20.馃挄
