HOT

Vets give me a discount when I rescue a stray cat. Had 7 kittens I rescued they were loaded with fleas , eye infections and in pretty poor shape they were 3 weeks old approximately. Vet charged 140.00 for all the meds antibiotics and eye ointment. They treated them for the fleas. I had them about 4 weeks gave them all away except 2.

This stray Rottweiler came to my work with porcupine needles in his face clearly begging people for help, trying to scratch his face at people. No one understands there not “scary dogs” everyone was doing there best to ignore the poor baby. I risked my job and took him to the vet. He let me pick him up and put him in my truck and everything. I spent $600 dollars for the medication during surgery but I knew I did the right thing. He now has a new home and I’m so happy knowing I helped a furry friend

Our neighborhood is full of feral cats constantly breeding, as two neighbors on the street feed them all and even provide shelter, but don’t take them to animal shelter to get them spade or neutered for free. I started feeding one little black/calico, because she’s so much smaller than the rest, but she won’t let me near her, and it looks like she has an eye infection. I say she, but I don’t know her actual gender. Now we have a different one who comes onto our back porch thru dog door to get out of the cold. I don’t chase him/her off, as it’s been below freezing on and off past couple of weeks. Dogs don’t appear as if they’ve smelled or seen him/her back there.

The is a women near me that traps strays, takes them to the human society and they neuter or spay them and then she sets them free again after a day or two. We are always going to have strays this way they can’t breed. It’s very very hard to domesticate a feral cat.

I found 6 strays in my basement when I was moving so I trapped them and took them with me. one was pregnant and three weeks later had 4 kittens. I was trying to rehome the when vet told me all 4 were deadfand two were blind. I have all of them and love them all

what was on her neck?

The red spot is actually a ring around its neck where a collar once was it likely grew out of as a lost kitten. It is clearly a young adult cat now. So sad it was lost. Hopefully it is caught and microchipped so it can be reunited.
