She could remain his friend and try to convince him to improve his literacy by taking classes. That way she could be a positive force in his life. Just because he can't spell does not mean he is a bad or stupid person. We all walk a different path.

Most children, even teenagers, now have difficulty spelling because they were raised by social media NOT their parents. Parents dont raise them. They give them a phone or a tablet to shut them up so they can ignore them.
