I've been witness to two car battery explosions. One was in sub zero cold, the other in summer. The incident in winter injured the man. Acid and cuts on his face.He tried to check water levels in the battery with a Bic lighter. The explosion in summer sparked from jumper cables. They connected battery to battery, causing a spark. It sounds like a bomb when they explode. BOOM!!
