I'd completely enclose in that. So no chance of cat getting out.

nope, once they realize they can climb it, it's pointless

Great idea but we have hawks in the area so still not gonna work. So I built our cats a Cattio out of all plexiglass and 3 screened windows. It’s not the “outdoors” but close enough

That is such a good idea for my cat. I definitely would do that for him and put cat in the backyard and put a fence on the top. Excellent idea so he can enjoy the outside.🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🌸💕

You should put out a tree climber and lots of toys to chase and play hunter. Then food to mimic the catch of food

My parents had this back in 1999 !! It was a total waste of time (assembly & maintenance), money (I’m sure it’s more costly today), and ENERGY (trying to keep 5 kitties confined to the yard)!!!!! I was the one who wanted it for my 13 cats but I had better LUCK just TRAINING my cats to stay in the yard. However—my cats only were allowed outside when I was working outside !!! They truly wanted to follow me anyway, so when I went in the house—they usually followed! Cats can be TRAINED!! IT JUST TAKES TIME & CONSISTENCY!!

But, would it keep other cats from getting in?
