I love when working but some of the metal pieces we use on fences are cheaper than all the wood that it would cost to do all that. I just don't see why we need to reinvent the wheel

those screws are WAY too short. you can see how the top screw just spun, and didn't pull into the piece of wood. that means, that it barely grabbed the post at all.

need more angle on nail an when pre starting nail have just tip hang out so with pressure it will stay were it placed one tap with hammer then you can get in with it .I installed wood privacy fences around homes for over 40 years so kiddos an puppy's would be safe. kept good tan kept me in very good shape coz it's one of most physical jobs you can do. but if you good at it an you huddle little bit of money can be had. I not educated person but rarely have issues with my bank. have great life peace
