The same thing happened to me in college while going for a computer science degree. Students here on a visa for college couldn't be employed after graduation except as professors. My guy was Middle Eastern and spoke English so poorly that he taught with his back to the students writing every word he said on the blackboard. Only class I ever dropped with an A. It caused me to change majors.

I had the same problem my junior year high school my algebra two teacher was from the Philippines, and her accent was really thick. I almost got switched from her class because I couldn’t understand her, but with some time I may do and I passed my class.
