one was scared (guy with nife) the other was glad he was scared. Please notice for a whole 7 seconds his nife holding hand was free to stab and he never executes the downward motion to stab. he was scared to fight and hoped the nife gave him a way out. the other guy didnt get stabbed so he was definitely glad he aint get stabbed or worse unalived.
