It’s just a form of respect for your partner that you put out there to let other people know with the small gestures that you do that you are taken and that you respect your partner very much some people don’t understand this because I see a lot of people back in the day used to do this. You don’t see it a lot now honestly, I think it has to do with how you were taught manners, morals, respect, and how you were brought up by your parents and how you want people to see you out in public when you have a partner and maybe he’s not with you but those little gesture still show I respect him he’s my partner
