I do not agree with her, I have already filled my taxes. the retired tax personal volunteer at our senior citizens building, and the have done mine every year for 26 years except the 2 years Biden/covic closed them down. I have paid Arizona taxes every year untill this year, I did not have to pay anything to Az. 馃馃 And getting more back from the state tax than I have ever received before. already done and gone.馃榿馃榿馃榿

If you are undocumented then you have a problem. If you are legally here then no problem. I don鈥檛 understand your argument, you don鈥檛 make sense.

If these people have a social security number than the IRS knows everything they need to know about anyone of these people so the only reason it would be good an idea to wait is because the software might not have all of the documents yet and people could loose out on credits they are eligible for! But to advise people who are already in a bind to wait to file their taxes or not file at all and acquire late fees and penalties in my eyes is unprofessional or at the least irresponsible! I鈥檓 not sure what you鈥檙e strategy is behind this but from someone who is also a tax preparer it鈥檚 crazy but just my opinion I request my clients info personal and business and they give it knowing I鈥檓 submitting it and providing their signature of proof to the IRS in no way am I contributing willing or unwilling to any wrong doing! If that鈥檚 the case I can only imagine how people employed by the IRS feels.

I'm no cpa, to my understanding you do have 3 years to file a return. If you owe you'll be charged interest on money owed, even if you file for an extension. Up to 25% of what you were "obligated" to pay. I could be wrong or misunderstand it myself.
