both he and the pilot deserve whatever they're paying them and more
Absolutely, no way that powerline company allows that helicopter to go that close
Shit some people are just amazing at their jobs. Of course this pilot and his crew are walking a very fine line but they probably do this on a daily basis. Just amazing
Huge money !!!
I know a joung man that is starting out journey lineman and going to college for business as well as Helicopter trade school.Continue in the trade. Then go to a trade school for this Helicopter line work.He has all this planned out precisely to the time of his future doing what takes him to 35.Says you live in a area and trade places with a lineman. In this line of business he will get see the world on them.He also mentioned they make a ridiculous amount of Money👍
These guys are total pros. One wrong move and that heli's blades could clip those lines, to keep it so steady in yhe wind and air is an absolute impeccable job piloting.
Thank you both for your service and may God bless you all 🙏
imagine what kind of money this man makes ,?
Wow !! Talk about job security !!! No AI ever going to replace either one of them !!
This is the real stuff, people. That lineman depends on his pilot.
Ooh shit... ..man, now that's dangerous!
These guys are nuts 😲
Ex Apache helicopter pilot 😆😜
Hella job, God bless you 😊
This is absolutely ridiculous! We put so much money into infrastructure over the years. High transmission lines should be in a reinforced concrete tunnel under ground. Regardless of what property they run through. 25 ft deep would clear anything where it’s actually needed.
watch these transmission tower line guys fly from tower to tower. You guys are insane but you rock!!!!
Agreed hope they are well paid😲
AI... there's no rotor wash moving the wires..
Wow! Just fn wow. I know a guy that is a h pilot that trims trees out west….
You couldn’t pay me enough to do that job. Thank god there are people who will.
what is the pay
Heros.
These guys should get what the President and CEO of the company make. Without these guys risking their lives there aren't any profits for them to be paid🤔
all i can say is more power to em!!!
Good working 😳
$$$$job
Screw that.. my grandson is a lineman but I hope he never does this...
Local # 3... Operating Engineers
No that id a high stress job!
I’d like to see their training program for this job
Electric and Water Lineman should also get their true Respect they deserve.👍
I think I'd rather be a librarian
What could possibly go wrong!!!
looks like fun at how many feet?
but what is he doing?
bad ass pilot
One rogue wind gust out of those mountains in the background, and it lights out for that entire crew, and the lights will go out for whatever towns those lines serve. Like a scene out of "Final Destination".
awesome guys!!!💕
I Quit
That is amazing , dangerous and I hope he gets paid very , very well
I would if I was younger. Looks like fun
WOW!
There are so many things done to get jobs done average people have no idea of risks taken in this day and age some not being done anymore and a lot that still are
GOD BLESS THOSE PEOPLE. NOW THATS AN EXTREMELY DIFFICULT JOB
i remember when one of those guys fell in memphis. it was not a good day.
Yeah, saw a show on that….cant shut power off, another reason for outfit…in the beginning they tried laying on stomach but not easy to work, then they didn’t use belts either…it’s wild what they do
Wonder what the yearly salary for that lineman is? 🤔
He forgot to take his ex off the beneficiary
I'm surprised he can if into that chair with such big ?????
now that's a job
Wonder how much that kind of job pays.I'd like to see his income or what the yearly is for something like that. It's gotta be nice
