What a total waste of time, energy and labor dollars. The average cost to grind a stump that size would be about $ 75 ! And no hole to fill in. Note they didnt show all the dirt that came outbof the hole....

Why would you use Strap? I would have used a log chain.

Someone wants someone else to be stupid enough to try this and then watch them bending the rear gate of the truck. What’s crazy is someone out there will actually try it.

When using this method always make sure you have a forklift on site to load the end gate in the truck after you rip the hinges off. 😲

I just drilled a bunch of holes in it, added some 2cycle gas/oil and light it. It took upwards of a week of smoldering but when everything was all said and done all I had to do was fill in the hole as the stump had been reduced to ashes.

or you leave 6 or 7 feet of trunk and use the same truck to pull it out. you might need a root bar.. also notice they already cut the roots. so not much force needed.

That’s fine and dandy as long as you can hook the strap onto the bottom of the stump like they did in the video. It also helps when all the roots are cut off like those were.

I don’t think that strap could take that if it wasn’t loose first

Well that's great if you have a dump truck!!!!!! I ask the neighbor across the street who had a pickup truck to wrap a chain around the root and slowly drive it forward to pull the trunk out for the truck has much more power but the truck would have to have a trailer ball to attach it to otherwise you might rip off your bumper , but the neighbor told me no and shook his head no at the same time, lol!!!!!!!!
