I did something like this before at the Walmart and when I was paying for my groceries I told the girl ringing me up to keep $50 and use it after I was gone and had rang up the lady behind me that had her 2 children with her and was pulling out her hair trying to get them to settle down. I was off in the corner watching and when she went to pay she was told her total but that some was already paid. She broke down and cried. I felt so blessed that I still do something like that like paid the b police officers ticket that was behind her at a restaurant and asked her not to tell him til I was gone and to tell him thank you for his service and that I was a widow of a fallen officer who was with our sheriffs department in another county for 26 years. And yes youโre right it will come back to you 10 fold 2 at Bob Evanโs and at a gas station. So it does come back. I still do little things it makes me have a better day knowing I made a gem smile.
I felt bad for a lady outside Walmart. She handed me a note as she didnโt speak English saying homeless with 3 kids. She filled up a cart and I encouraged her to get toys for the kids too. Total came to around $400 which was a really huge hit for me but I was happy to help her and figured I could do without. SCAMMED! The following week at Walmart approached by a woman holding the same exact noteโsame handwriting, same story, same smudges on the paper. Guess I just look like a sucker but I didnโt bite the second time. Really colored my view of people. I still help from time to time but only for a few dollars. Only have social security and it hurt to be so used.

I went Grocery shopping, as I was getting out of my car , I saw two homeless men standing in front of a cafe a man was walking out of the same cafe he stopped looked at them and asked are you guy's hungry , they said nothing the man went back in the cafe, a waitress come out and said come in side your lunch is payed for. I don't see this often, but my heart melted. God Bless these kind people.๐๐๐๐
I used to own a shop downtown and there was a homeless man that would sit there I didnโt know who he was or that he was in hero disabled veteran. I used to always order food for me and buy him a burger or bring a water and soda. My customers hated him. They said he took my business away. One night I was attacked getting into my Mercedes. This homeless man risk his life to save me . I called the police and they wanted to arrest him. I said no we need to get him help. Heโs the one that saved me.. At the hospital, they found out. He had been a hero and was disabled since he was reported dead by the military so when he returned.๐ฅฐ his wife had remarried he started drinking and ended up homeless. He was given the right medical care and help he deserved to get on his right foot again. We need to help those that have less because all they need is a little help showing that people care
I have found that when you let them pick they seldom go over $30. They just REALLY need something to eat. I appreciate the guy posting this video. It doesnโt take much to make a homeless personโs life a little brighter. A lot of the genuine homeless community are one push away from giving up on humanity and a kind gesture, like this, can restore their optimism and maybe even faith in God! To God be the glory!!! Amen
I pulled up to a Publix, it was pouring rain and a man I had seen before was sitting under the walkway. I pulled up to the man (yes, in a fireplace) and handed him $20. Went straight back to vehicle, as my father who couldnโt speak and my 10 year old son was in the car, a police officer pulled up right behind me and wrote me a $200 ticket for parking in a fire lane! Karmaโฆ. I still felt good about helping the old man and told my son, Iโm not going to let that officers bad attitude take away my joy.
People that have nothing are appreciative of so little.

I came across a man crying in the parking lot of the grocery store. one day. I asked him what was wrong and he said he can't feed his family. So we both went in the store and I bought his groceries. Then I drove them to his extended stay hotel and met his blind wife. Next time I won't drive anybody home because it's not safe. I appreciated that he chose foods that were sustainable and healthy. ๐ธ

America needs free grocery stores where nearly expired food and not perfect produce can be sent. If Trumpster did this, the Democrats would have to stop bitching about him. Food insecurity solved overnight.

I know a homeless person once asked me just for help for his dog. I love dogs so yeah, I went and bought his dog a bunch of treats, dog food and treats. He was so happy. I hate that we have homeless people, but Iโm gonna do what I can to help you know.

I had a gal ask me she had lamb, sirloin, Ribeye, chicken, ice cream. Topping, rice, And a lot more stuff that I would only buy for did yโall occasion meals. She said it was wax her kids. I asked where the bread. Milk, cheese, cereal yogurt, noodles, soup, crackers where? Then she pretended like she didnโt understand but spoke perfect English before. Need to watch the scams do tired of it. I was told by the manager they sell the meats for $$
I wonder, couldn't you just help without needing validation from the online community? Isn't it enough that you helped someone out in their time of need, without shout outs from people you will never see in person.

A homeless guy came to me one time and wanted money, said he was hungry. I offered to get him a loaf of bread and lunch meat, he said no thanks he just wanted money. I told him I think I'll keep my money in my pocket.
I think the point was how he got only a few nessasary items and asked for the cokes like it was a big thing. Stop cutting each other down all the time. Perspective can be positive or negative,think about your choices.

O don't think this person was bragging. I think it is her way of encouraging others to help the down and out, but also to show appreciation to someone who is a giver and a necessity to the community like firemen, police, medical, or whoever touches your heart. It is a gift to others that gives back to the giver, which is great.

It's wonderful to see people helping others who are down. I would do this if I could afford it but some months I have to choose between food or medication. The result of this decision is I've gone from almost 300lbs to 195 in 7 months. I lost a lot of my weight in my face. now the wrinkles have me looking like I'm 100yrs old. I know the feeling of sleeping outside in hot or cold weather day in and day out. That's why I just give to the homeless it's even more sad when they have children or pets as well. I Seen a homeless woman a few days ago laying in a sleeping bag in the snow with a baby, I gave her a 50$, she cried a bit, told me a bit about herself, huggged me then thanked me. I hope she's doing okay๐.

If you got a dollar more than somebody help someone. Sometimes itโs not money, itโs just holding the door open or give a ride. Letโs normalize kindness again.
I helped a person that was in front of me at the grocery store when they were unable to pay for their groceries. I didn't feel the need to record the incident on my phone. What is wrong with people.

I have a friend who has been helping a group of homeless senior citizens and brings them two hot meals a day. I had a lot of canned goods that were getting close to their use by dates so I brought her nine boxes of canned goods, pasta, flour, corn meal. This was just before Thanksgiving so I also grabbed a 25 pound turkey and a big ham. She had also gotten a couple of turkeys so they had a good dinner on both holidays. It's horrible knowing that seniors are homeless in Michigan because they can't afford the rent. One woman is 83!!! If the complex I live in raises my rent again like they just did ($75) I will be joining their ranks next year. Last night it was in the single digits and I'm so afraid that some of them are going to die because of the cold.

i had a man ask mr for money at the grocery store parking lot i gave him ten dollars i watch him go in get a loaf of brrad a 1/2 gallon of milk and dome eggs and a miller lite big bottle he came out just a smiling and walkef home made me happy to see him happy there are so maney who get money stick in their pocket then go back begging more people for more money but i was happy to make his day

I bought a homeless person a tent and warm jacket the a week later she asked for another tent and then another week later she said someone stole her jacket. So I finally realized that she might be selling her stuff for drugs. In any case, I'd still buy her another jacket because I don't want her to be cold. She is Oprah Winfrey's niece by the way.

I love this so many people donโt realize that you donโt need to be rich to help people. Some people just need a little bit of help and I can do so much for them emotionally and physically I can never think the cop enough that gave my brother $100 and saved his life and drove him to meet me. He was walking through the desert trying to find a friend and unfortunately July 4, 2024 my brother did pass away for heat stroke. I canโt get over how heartbroken I am and how much I hate myself and regret not helping him more even though I didnโt have the means to I shouldโve still tried to figure something out anything and I hate myself for it. I have kids and a baby and I canโt let myself go because they need me too, but really my brother needed me and it really breaks my heart that he needed me and I wasnโt there for him when he needed me the most, and I hope that he can hear me and knows how much I feel bad and how much I love him and how sorry I am!!! I love feeding people, when I make dinner and if I see homeless people pass by my house I run outside and ask them if theyโve eaten today and I always make them a big olate and give them a few cold drinks. At the end of the day weโre all human and no one deserves to go hungry

This man was digging out the trash eating it I saw him and I work in food so I made him food and got him a drink let him nap in the back of our store where he could be warm and safe for a little bit I do help in other ways a lot more but this one stuck with me because when I came back to check on him he left me a note washed all my dishes cleaned the bathroom took the trash out and organized all my back storage from truck order. It was amazing and I never asked him once to do anything. He left without a word but left a kind note. Iโll never forget him
