Let him be in peace. He is real he isn’t wearing his cover in the store . Cover is for outside a building. We also only salute officers and you don’t salute in a war zone. I am 3rd generation Army my son is 4th generation Army he served in the Middle East and suffers from horrible PTSD because what he say grown adults doing to children. My uncle USMC and we lost Paul Nelson Veitnam . Show these guys respect . This is very disrespectful to these guys. Just to give an example . We veterans protect your right to freedom. Of speech. They don’t have it in other countries. UK is putting its citizens in prison for 2 years for complaining on Facebook. Shit we’re lucky 3% stand up for the other 97. Other countries everyone serves in the military. 22 of these veterans commit suicide a day just so you can be free! My son is off self medicating because he’s sacrifice. I’m going to tell you if that dude was on base, an actual base, he would’ve done the same thing. We don’t have to pop to attention every time someone yells atten hut. That something you see in movies. So don’t go walking around and see someone in uniform and yell out commands . I do have a suggestion on something you can say that might be more appropriate and welcoming “thank you for your service. You sacrifice a lot when you join and even though it’s been by volunteers, it’s a helluva sacrifice
