Being so close together is a good chance of both of them getting shot and why would you put yourself in the path of projectiles that deleted your partner

The gunner is down my butt, they are assuming falsely, if the gunner is down, they all be down because of enemy firing. They don't have any cover or concealment which shows no protection.

One of my best friends was a SAW gunner in Iraq and Afghanistan, dude would sit there and tell me the craziest shit. Gave it all up for his little boy and to give him an active father. Miss that guy all the time

Training. As a former Drill sergeant, you create realistic scenarios for a type of situation. You're under fire , so you probably can't pick up and move , you gotta get back on that weapon for suppression fire 🔥
