Only people who have done something wrong pull this type of stunt. I have been pulled over a dozen times. Never once was asked to step out of the car. Maybe because I was respectful and kind.

Total BS. Love the not required to sign. The state I live in, if you don't sign the ticket you get put in the police car and driven to the court right then Signing is a promise to appear, not an admission of guilt.
You are REQUIRED to sign the citation. If you refused you will be arrested and charged with Obstruction of a police officer which is a misdemeanor offense and will see a judge.

In 50 years of driving in New York State and California, I have never been pulled. I drove across the country when we moved back 89 and was never pulled over. If I had been, I would comply. Pretty simple.
