what an idiot!!! I learned this is a dangerous thing to do because it "CAN CRACK YOUR WINDSHIELD" I was once an idiot, too! My Grandfather caught me starting to do this and WARNED me at age 16. I warned my friend, who said my Grandfather was wrong. She kept doing it and wound up cracking her windshield! Back in the 70s insurance didn't pay for replacement! It cost her a lot of money to get it replaced! She later apologized to my Gramps!🙏😲🥰😆

you could put widow washer in a spray bottle. that works too. we use it on school bus windows. works great.
Try that with 1/2 inch of ice with 4” of snow on top. I bet you will not be clear in 5 minutes!

In 1979 the heater in our car didn't work. My ex- husband would always pour hot water on the windshield and back window when he had to go to work early in the morning. l kept warning him it was going to break them, but it never did!! 🤷🥶🌨️❄️❄️

you know if you get in your car and turn on the defroster it will do the same thing and it's a whole lot easier

When I was in Texas and it snowed, I didn’t do that, because I was told it would break the windshield, so I just used the windshield cleaner to take no risk
