I knew this lady (she passed years ago, GOD rest her soul) She was born in the late 1800's. This lady had 21 children and she made fruit cakes as gifts. Each fruit cake took about 3/4 of a bottle of whiskey! LOL It took her about 2-3 months of "watering" her fruit cakes 3 to 4 times a week until they were "ready" to gift out. Very patient woman! EVERYONE looked forward to their Fruitcake Gift for years!!! Just wanted to share a nice story! 💕
Fruit cake originated before gloves. I am a retired nurse. We didn't have gloves when I started. Try cleaning poopy butts and digging dentures out of puke with no gloves. We learned to double wash our hands and clean our nails...😆😆😆 But we survived🤔.

My Wi-Fi isn’t working, but to me it looks like some sort of dough with eggs and trail mix added. Odd is the amount of kneading being done (with bare hands,you likely noticed) which would heat the dough and melt the ersatz M&M s.
