Leach got canned from Texas Tech … don’t sing his praises too loud because he wasn’t as nice as he lead people to believe … besides he died several years ago.
Mike Leach had away of spotting talented players and bringing out the best in them . He introduced the high flying "AIR RAID OFFENSE " to the college world & produced some really good quarterbacks . His interviews were always entertaining. TX TECH was fun to watch . Thanks, coach 🙏 RIP
What happened to Matt Williams?
He won free rent from an apartment complex in Lubbock called the Linwood Apartments. Apparently, Leach couldn't remember his name and just called him Linwood. And BTW Leach was screwed over by the administration because it was Craig James son that the controversy centered around. James went public and made it look like some horrible thing had taken place. Administration didn't like the bad publicity. The James kid was a not so good tight end and daddy was upset and started throwing his weight around. He got Leach fired, but his kid never played.
Wish someone would kick Roger Goodell that stunningly...😲
