My 17yr old granddaughter and her 14 yr old younger half sister were sitting in the living room last weekend when some random guy just walked in the house. Mom wasn't home as she does Uber. My gd said he was high on math. Said he was paranoid and hid in her room. Her younger sister was calling the cops while she was trying to call their mom. She said the cops showed up in like 2 minutes and arrested him. Thank God he didn't harm them but it could have been so much worse.

Never owned a firearm! Used plenty of weapons during the VietNam era. Was once a skilled martial artist, but those days are long since gone! Fortunately, I live in an area with minimum crime. But, it is becoming clear that the mre I age, the more urgent the need for a weapon for home security become necessary

Yes any normal state you’d be able to unload a mag into them. But Jersey you can’t or you’d go to jail not those that entered illegally and threatened your family and home. Yeah a lot of what ifs… but in a real life situation a lot can go wrong in 30 seconds and end 2 lives so first teach everyone in your home what to do encase an intruder enters your dwelling stay together and be very tactical as you move through your house to safety if the intruder is armed and sees your all armed more then likely the intruder is will retreat
