My father was stopped by police while speeding to take his dying brother to the hospital. They gave him a police escort to the hospital. This would have been about 60 years ago when humans knew decency and respect for life.
The woman officer should of atleast tried to call hospital to try to find out if its true or not or followed to hospital but to say I dont care. what if its true and if that person dying was her family member how would she feel.

that is absolutely ridiculous. I've been in the same situation as an intensivist and the police have followed me to the hospital to assure that what I was telling them was true but their ultimate concern was for the welfare of the patient. this police officer is not being a professional

I stopped by police at 1:00 am for not coming to a complete stop at a stop sign(I slowed to almost a complete stop) while on the way to the hospital after receiving a call from the hospital informing me that my wife was dying. I told him the situation,but the officer still held me up for nearly 30 minutes,and after that he just gave me a warning ticket. Through all that,by the time I made it to the hospital my wife was still living,but passed away at 5:30 that same morning.😔😔😔

She was pulling over for speeding excessively, 3 different ID’s (which she screamed at them about) and had fake tags including the one that was on her car. Not only that she was very rude and the first thing that she said when pulled over was “Are you pulling me over because i’m transgender?” 🤨
I would have to side with the dr on this. This cop needs a lesson on emergency procedures. It is easy to confirm her status as a Dr.

I come from a Police family. It is normal practice in this situation to escort the doctor to the hospital. My brother would certainly have escorted her to the hospital. A police woman saying she doesn’t care was an unwise statement.
