My father was stopped by police while speeding to take his dying brother to the hospital. They gave him a police escort to the hospital. This would have been about 60 years ago when humans knew decency and respect for life.
The woman officer should of atleast tried to call hospital to try to find out if its true or not or followed to hospital but to say I dont care. what if its true and if that person dying was her family member how would she feel.
What is the patient in the car? There are no other doctors at the hospital to take care of patient. This poor excuse. Give 10 tickets.

At that point the Officer SHOULD have tried to find out if it was true .Simply ask, "May I see the text"

When laws begin to matter more than saving human lives, it’s long past time to reevaluate how many laws we have in the U.S. and which ones are truly necessary. We the people should decide which laws, if any, should ever override the life of a dying patient. And to whoever said there were “enough doctors” to handle it—shame on you. I doubt you’d feel that way if it were your spouse, parent, or child. I’d bet the same officer who stopped that doctor would speed without hesitation if her own family member were dying or if another officer was down. We see hypocrisy every day. Cops speed without lights or emergencies, then later pull others over for the same thing. Police officers are also required to follow the law. They can’t speed just to get lunch. If officers jail people daily for breaking rules, then when they break those rules, their punishment should be harsher—not ignored. A badge is not a license to break the law, and no rule should matter more than saving a life.
