Hey Everyone, this is how prosthetic limbs are made. The Tech here is casting a shell off a cast of an below knee amputee. The shell will be customized to the patients liking and needs. The top of it will be customized for the persons new limb. I used to work at Hanger Clinic and watched this many times. This is the part that will slide over the patient limb. there will be a silicone liner placed on the limb, then this shell. each one is custom made.
