Guys, remember what truly made Elvis special was the fusion he did with Black American Blues. It was the sound the dancing the movement. If it were not for the Southern Black experience he would just have been another singer. Imitation is the best flattery. Was he wrong for stealing it yes. Do you think he was able to showcase that sound and music in front of a crowd that would never have heard it otherwise. Yes, two things can be true at the same time. Who knows what dominos he set in place for future Black American Southern Blues artists. I honestly believe Elvis loved Black American southern Blues and Rock.
