Poor man..he didn't even realize he haven't purchased the beverages, and the reason I say this is because he didn't protest about them being taken back. Early stages of Alzheimer's or Dementia.

I was in a store (can’t remember which one because it’s been a while, plus I’m old) but a person exited the store with an entire cart full of merchandise. The alarm went off, but the staff did nothing. I pointed out the obvious—that the thief had just exited the store with a ton of merchandise—and the staff just shrugged. I believe there is a policy against pursuing shoplifters. That’s great for the thieves, but I’m sure it’s bad for the bottom line!

I was at a Menards in Brooklyn Park MN and upon entering the store I observed 2 security officers trying to take stolen items from a Caucasian male the security officers managed to get some of the merchandise back but then the suspect ran out the front door almost knocking me down and the security officers did not pursue him I guess they have a do not pursue policy as well 🤔

They let them walk out in Wilco and it was about 6 months and they closed down. Sad. I keep saying stores need to go to a Service Merchandise store set up. If you don't know or remember it. One of each item was on display and you took a ticket to the counter, they would pull the item from the back while you paid and then got your order. McDonalds kind of dose it with the keyouge system. Folks didn't like it because they couldn't steel from them anymore. 😆

We all pay for the shoplifters. Because after inventory. Stores raise prices on everything in the store to make up their losses. But since it’s spread out over everything in the stores. Most people don’t even notice the price increases.
