In my opinion, as a baseball kid myself, this is the purest & fun league. Everything older is serious & competitive, even within your own team & the parents. It's only fun when you're winning.

When my youngest did T-ball at that age, a classmate of hers was on the opposing team. They saw each other, ran up, held hands, and ran back and forth between the bases the whole game. It was adorable, lol!
And the kids playing in the field, sitting, playing in the dirt, chasing butterflies, and watching an errant go by.

Awww, I miss these days!! 😭 I used to play catch every day with my son. He was 2 when he saw Sandlot & has loved baseball since his 1st run, through the movie. Anyways, I’d tell him, give me the heat, buddy! He was prob 5 when this happened…he threw a perfect pitch! My CHIN caught it, not the glove & him & his 2 sisters come running, asking if I’m ok. I was numb from the impact but covered my mouth bc my teeth were a bit (a lot ) sore….I was gushing blood, lol…him,” mommy, mommy, I’m sorry, with little tears down his cheeks bc he felt so terrible. I was laughing! So they started laughing. Walked over to the porch to ask my mom if it was ok & can she go grab a bandaid for me. She started laughing so hard & says, honey, I can see your chin bone! You need stitches! Hahaha

It's sad, it won't be fun when they get older, the parents ruin all the enjoyment from it, sticking their noses into, and taking it way too seriously with fights and assaults. Parents who can't control their temper can make it so stressful and miserable for their children. SMH.🙏

I absolutely love watching the little people play T Ball. My husband and I coached our son’s team when they were little and it was just the Best! This little Boy name Timmy every time he went around to second base he would run out to center field instead of third base I mean he was cooking with gas and we’re just a yelling Timmy come back!! 😂😂😂 they have so much heart . He was such a cutie pie. 🥰

This is really how it is. I coached my sons team at 4. The outfield sat & pulled grass. We even had to carry a kid out just like the one dad did. Fun times. GREAT MEMORIES!
