I can definitely appreciate y'alls position. I'm a single Dad of THREE younger daughters. Their Mom died in May of 20. We've been on this road for a WHILE NOW, alone. ..they are literally all I've got. It's a STRUGGLE like no other! I just pray that I'm doing, "ENOUGH".

My father came from a family of many sons and just two girls. When I was born (the third daughter) I learned many many years later he was disappointed. Back then the knowledge was unknown of the determination of the sex of a child was made by the male. Due to many factors, including his disappointment, my parent’s marriage ultimately failed after he reportedly had an affair. My Mother, to her credit, wasn’t having it though she loved him until his early death just over forty. This man exhibits wisdom and respect for the women in his life. How I wish there were more men in the world like this wonderful FATHER. Thank You for this post. I played it REPEATEDLY.

So this brought me tears, my dad is gone now but I worked for my Dad's Land Surverying business my entire life. Started holding backsites at like 8yrs old. I finally wanted to be crew chief in my 20s and worked up to that position and if you know anything about surveying I never had error. He told me I was the best at the topcon hed ever had...after years of working under men I finally made my dad proud! I dont believe that women can best men though because in manual labor field they could always cut line better than me....but I kept up with em! To all the daddys with daughters, Thank You for believing in us!
