Don’t mean to be a negative. I was very unfortunate when I was a kid. My parents struggled to get gifts. I saw this. I don’t teach my kids Santa exists. it steals the parent’s hard work. Kids need to understand mom and dad work very hard to provide and kids need to be thankful & grateful to get gifts. Christmas is about the birth of Christ not Santa.

I did this like 6 years ago fo my sisters kids using the same exact boot and I left one boot stuck in the fireplace I woke up to her son freaking out yelling mom I found santas boot !! one memory I love to always have with me

I still do this for my grand babies now! My children loved it, creating the magic of Santa gives huge smiles, joy… I have a red button, Santa glasses, and a little bell that he sometimes drops somewhere where the kids can find it, and of course reindeer food and reindeer sparkle so they can find their way to the roof! I always told my kids one day you will be a Santa’s helper. My granddaughter is now a teenager and became a Santa helper this year for the little one’s. It made her so happy to help add some Christmas magic.. she also said “ grandma I can’t believe you did all of this by yourself and no one knew you were the helper l😆
