This young man's actions are not only foolish, but also dangerous. Smoking a cigarette while pumping gas is a reckless behavior that puts himself and others at risk. It is outrageous that someone would even consider doing this. Not only is it a potential fire hazard, but it also goes against common sense and basic safety precautions. This kind of behavior should not be taken lightly and the young man should face serious consequences for his actions. A big fine would not only serve as a punishment, but also as a lesson for him to never do something like this again. Hopefully, he will learn from this experience and realize the severity of his actions.

Actually it would not do anything bc it's a cigarette 1 cigarette & back in the day cell phone had overheated and or exploded and a gas pump and because fire can only start by an open flame it caused the whole gas station pump to explode but cigarette you could put a cigarette out with gas former manager at gas stations here back in the day when we had to use a pretty much a huge yard stick to see how much gas we had left into the ground geez I'm showing my age but yeah leave people alone especially if you don't know what you're talking about💕

I would have people do an ignition point test. One was done on a 55gal drum with gasoline in automotive class. It won't ignite unless the temperature is warm enough for the fuel to vaporize otherwise a lit match will go out.
