HOT

I have been doing this for yrs. My daughter is a paraplegic. She lives in a studio apt I built for her behind my house. It is approximately 60 ft from the sidewalk back to the apt. During the winter when it snows, I have to shovel snow to get her out. So I ordered 4 tarps that are 4 ft by 20 ft and as soon as I hear the word snow I lay those tarps down. All I have to do is pull up the tarps and no shoveling. This year it will be even easier because I have zip tied them together and now I just roll it out. All of my neighbors thought it wouldn't work. One actually came out and asked me if I needed help shoveling the snow. I proudly said nope, I got this. Who is laughing now? 😲

How did he get down the steps to remove the tarp/plastic. I don't see any foot prints.

I do that with my pickup truck when snow or ice is expected! I never get out with a scraper to go to work. Just remove the cover and go!!! I've been doing this for about 25 years, and it works!

That’s fine with the dusting you got. But what about major snow like the 37” we had last weekend?

I tried this in my driveway. Did not work. Was too heavy to move the tarps and they were smaller tarps not huge one.

it works great but if you have to walk on it to get to the bottom first... it can be very dangerously slick. did that on my inclined yard for my dogs and I about fell several times when I stepped on the wet snow covered plastic but it made a nice big clean spot that a shovel wouldn't have been able to.

Heavy duty plastic.Yes, it would work for a couple of inches, not for a couple of feet.It wouldn't be able to pull it

I am so grateful we don’t have to deal with all that snow here in Baton Rouge… But we sure do have to deal with a hell of a lot of crime

Genius. You need to make it more of something that could be marketed and sold in stores. It would be better if the material is made a little more permanent, so it could be used over and over.

Please note: He didn't walk down those stairs to get down there. That would be the dangerous part. Snow on plastic could be INCREDIBLE slippery, so be careful walking down them before removing it.

I do this for my car’s front windshield. I have heating elements for my back glass but not the front windshield so I put a full size sheet across the windshield and down the front of the hood. When I’m ready to leave I just pull it off and I’m all ready to go.
