It goes on all over the Country . My sister lived with me off and on for 5 years . I supported her and helped with her mental issues . Family would take her for a few days till they were sick of her . They all washed their hands of her . When she got her disability . They snatched her up and I've only seen her twice since . That was 2 months ago . People will use family for all they can get . It's a Sad , Sad World .
Some kind of intense screening needs to be accomplished before a non-family person is hired for care-giving! This poor man man!

This happens way too many times to the elderly. They think these people are honest. But some are just a predator waiting for their opportunity to pounce on the elderly. A minimum jail time should be 5 - 10 years of jail time . Then post their picture and the criminal offense on a billboard to let the public know what this person did .

I'm a caretaker, and I do not and will not stand for knowing that these people taking care of these lovely older people and take advantage of it.\n I've been a caretaker over 10 years, and I never ever did my client wrong. They need to stay in jail for a long time.🙏

It is not just the money that these people are taking. There's a lot of caregivers that go in for home care, and they steal their medicines, jewelry, money. It is really, really sad that family members are not taking care of their own. I just wish people would make time to take care of their loved ones.So this would not happen
