Ridiculous. I would just buy another board. Use what I can from the broken piece but what a waste of time and resources using bolts, nuts and melting lead. Not to mention inhaling fumes from the melting lead.

For $60/hr for my labor, a new board is more cost effective. But, if it鈥檚 all pre stained and finished, sometimes this actually saves time and money.

He didn't warn you of the fact that you stand A risk of Lead Poisoning! Yes...Lead Poisoning. Those little weights were Lead. When melted, they give off Poisonous gas that causes Lead Poisoning when inhaled. If you think I'm lieing...Do Your Research.
