A touching clip, however, the uniforms are wrong. The red stripes on the trousers are only worn by NCO above. The father has no rank insignia and the Private-first class is not authorized to wear that red stripe. Some of us call it the blood stripe in honor of those who died in combat before us. Almost every piece of that uniform has meaning and we Marines are very proud of what that uniform stands for. A Marine until I die Semper Fi.
