Bummer if you happen to be outside and some kid upstairs pulls the handle.
So you're going to tell me that's going to rely on one person or one family up above they save your life below for the automatic button to save your life for the drop-down stairs how is that helpful what a thing home what if they're asleep what if the apartment is not anybody living it like it who's going to pull the switch then good questions
notice this is not a balcony it's flat up against the wall. it only opens up when someone pulls the emergency exit. in normal use it's just a gate in front of your sliding doors. if this is real I would like to see the procedure for resetting it.

Where is the handle? On the top floor where no one can get up there to unlock it? And who has the key? The superintendent who lives in the bsmt or house 20 min away?
