It's really quite simple once you practice a bit... unless you have a cat.
They will carry this lesson for lifeβ¦. Itβs more meaningful when grandparents or parents show you these tricks π
My fitted sheets
I love β€οΈ folding bed π sheets π₯°π
Here's what a fitted sheet looks like after I fold it
I'm 60 yrs old and still canβt fold fitted sheets! π π π My Mom showed me plenty of times but I would purposely do it wrong just so she would say "never mind, I'll do it myself"! π π π
I have been doing that for decades I don't understand how this amazes people
I learned to do this back in the 60s when I got my first fitted sheets. Worked great till I tore my shoulder andbroke collar bone. I still try and.uch easier on flat surface. Having furbabies try to help makes it harder. Wish I still had my mangle.π€
Isn't a trick. Its how you fold a fitted sheet. One person alone can do it. I've been doing it alone for years.
I WAS TODAY OLD LEARNING THIS N I'M 63 SO THANKSπ₯°π₯°π₯°π₯°
The young of this generation is just not taught . Where were their parents
I don't have time for that. I'm just wadding it up and throwing it in the closet π
Just put ur hand in one corner and follow the sheet around putting each corner over the last. Once all 4 corners r tucked over ur hand, straighten out the sheet until all fits together. Then fold over how ever u like it. Not Rocket Science !!!
My Mom taught me this. It doesnβt take 2 people to do it.

Grandma. This is soooooo old. And family if u dont know how to fold the fitted sheet i feel sorry for u
LEARN FROM YOUR ELDERS, CHERISH, LOVE AND CARE FOR THEM AND DEVOTE AS MUCH TIME AS YOU CAN GIVING WELL DESERVED FLOWERS AND HONOR TO THOSE WHO MADE SO MANY THINGS POSSIBLE FOR YOU AND I!!!! Make the MOST of the time remaining for life is β fleeting β. Love hard now because the pain that comes later is inevitable. GOD bless you ALL!!!β€οΈ
I can vote if she just like that by myself
I never had anyone to help me fold them, so my mom showed me how to do it by myself. Practice makes perfect. Then you stack those matched linens and put them inside of one of the pillow cases and voila! Youβve got a pkg of matched bedsheets.
I do this but sometimes I wad it up , itβs quicker
nothing new who do you think taught them that? Our ancestors.
This is how my mom taught me. Itβs easy when you have 2 people. Can manage on my own, finished fold up just doesnβt look as nice.
amazing what grams can teach you if you want to listenπ
oh that's really niceπππ I'm just going to put it in a ball and just throw it where it goes in a bag until I need it with all the other onesππππ I have a bag full of socks and then I have a different bag for underwears I'll have time to fold that s***
I've been doing this for all my adult life. I also fold the flat sheet and 1 pillow case and put the set in the last pillowcase, it keeps the set together.
My mother taught me this as I was learning to take care of my room at about 12-13 years old.
But how do you do up by yourself
I've been folding sheets like this since I was a little girl, a hundred years ago, all by myself...it's nothing new and certainly not a trick...my mother taught us when we were little girls and we had to iron the pillowcases.
Yeah but who has a helper folding clothes or sheets???? π
Martha Stewart taught you well!
you're correct. somewhere she faded away. i miss learning from grandmas and aunties. passed ideas to my children and still try t i make everything homemade.π₯°
still need 2 people..
my mother taught me how to fold fitted sheets this was back in the 50's
I knew how to fold a sheet like that by the time I've 6 7-year-oldπ€¨
Martha Stewart does it by herself.
Okay when you have TWO people to fold
I donβt have enough arms to do this.
takes 2 people. I hate folding them
my mom worked in a hospital she taught us very young how to fold sheets and make our beds with hospital corners
That's the way I've done it for many, many years! Though it is more fun to wad it up and toss it on the bed.... then try to get your cat out of it! (She likes the warm sheets fresh out of the dryer!)
I have Ben folding fixed sheets like this for years π
I have been doing that for years and years!
I do that by myself. Nothing new here. I have king size sheets
Heck, once you get the hang of it, it's very simple and you don't need another person...even with king size sheets.
wowπ³
I just learned this today BTW Iβm 37 π«
Well DUHH! That's how you fold a fitted sheet! I've been doing this since I was a kid! Never had ANYONE show me! It takes a brain! π€¨
A great lesson. I do it alone, and fast too. Another tip, to store your sheet sets, fold your sheets, slide them inside the pillowcase, fold over or tuck in the edges of the case and there you go. No, lost sheets or pillowcases because they are all together. They'll also stay bundled and not become a scattered mess in the cabinet or drawer.
dude in the back geeking like he watching a flow star be thrown around....
Learning is occurring
my momma taught me this at 6 yrs old
that yay was everything
Damn... everyone needs an instructional video for every basic task these days...
Exactly how my mom taught me.
what if you only have one person folding the sheet? I take the sheets off then wash them and immediately put them back on so I don't have to fold the sheets.
perfect
my grandma taught me, but I hate holding them, here used to come out so pretty and organized, I have to stuff those stubborn parts that would somehow be undone back into the sheet to make it look kinda like hers... I miss her so much... π€
Thank you thank you! I had forgotten how to do that!
I didn't know that was a secret...
I learned as a child watching the owner of a laundromat fold bottom sheets.
What if you don't have a 2nd person, much harder and they don't fold as well without the tension.
shes gotta go public with this many people go insane about not knowing how to fold these types of sheets... I gotta tell my girlfriend, why am I still commenting!!!ππ
that's no trick ππππthat's literally how you fold a fitted sheet
