They're so weird looking. Their skulls have evolved to be flat on top because they live in the Himalayas where there's little cover for them to hunt. When they crouch down and flatten their ears back they're difficult to see.
A Pallas's cat (Manul) is a wild animal that can be dangerous if provoked, possessing a surprisingly strong bite for its size, sharp claws, and aggressive, territorial nature, making it untameable and unsuitable as a pet, with potential harm similar to an angry domestic cat but with a wilder edge. Despite their small size, they have strong jaws and teeth, with a bite force strong enough to crush bone. They are elusive and usually avoid humans, preferring to hide in rocky crevices rather than flee, but will defend themselves if cornered. Notoriously difficult to tame, they can be very aggressive, requiring specialized care in zoos. Treat a Pallas's cat as a wild animal, to be admired from a distance.
