Great information about Eisenhower. My dad parents attend one of his inaugural balls! A funny thing happened. My Dad didn’t have a tuxedo on and wasn’t going to be let in. But one of the attendants loaned my dad his coat so her could attend with my mom. It cost my dad $100. My mom loved telling that story!!!
