My 1984 Camry had 437,000 miles on it when I sold it for 400.00 dollars, the motor ran great it was the body that was turning into nothing but rust of course I did a lot of maintenance to it over the years but it had the original motor and drivetrain. The person that bought it turned it into a derby car which took 2nd place at the fair.
My Dad got a 1969 Chevy impala. 283 engine 2 speed powerglide. He put 500,000 plus miles on that car. Most cars are only as good as the mechanic that takes care of them.
And they will give them top dollar for it about $50
