I think it was better that she did not try to jump back in. This almost same situation happened to me in January and when I tried to jump back in, the door hit me and knocked me down with my legs getting run over. Our truck continued down driveway and smashed into tree. It was totaled. No broken bones but horrific bruises.
Why didn't she just jump back in on the brakes the door was open? 🤔😲
I would have gone and bought a lottery ticket AFTER I went & changed my pants! 😱
This happened to my sister. Her driveway was very sloped, but she got out and forgot to put the car in park. As she approached the other side of the car to unload groceries and get my neohew, the van started rolling...She tried to rush to jump in because the back door was open (nephew). The front door knocked her down and the van rolled. It rolled across two lanes on a major Rd/hwy..jumped across a raised median continued across another 2 lanes and into the driveway of a neighbor on the other side of the hwy. The van stopped there. My sister had gotten up and ran across on pure adrenaline to get to her toddler..The cars on the very busy hwy had stopped on both sides. Her... bleeding, one shoe off, clothes shredded .and her head looked like 'The Mask' by the time I arrived. My nephew was in his car seat non the wiser playing on his toy piano. She has third degree burns on her arms forever from the fall, but God protected them, stopped traffic, and the van was perfectly fine.
