The case went cold 13 months later and they later identified the man because they found her hair in his red pick up truck and it linked back to the Nicks family, The man died in 2000 while in prison for another abduction case. Her body was never found. This may not even be the actual girl.
My wife and I have a special needs daughter who is down syndrome, autistic, and non verbal. Our daughter had this male therapist who was definitely a chomo. Tried closing doors, had her on his lap, I said....our daughter needs to be in her own chair. My biggest raider was when he tried closing the door, and turning her camera to the side in her room. No, Morgan Nick was not "kidnapped by the actor in the costume", she was taken by a man at a local baseball game and he was finally identified through genetic DNA testing. Stop with the false videos just for clicks.
As a parent you need to realize. A lot of people working with children do it for the ease of being around them. They are everywhere unfortunately. Even down the hall. Just educate as best you can and pray.

Sick there a story that’s already just about the worst thing. Anyone could have to go through losing a child like that and then never even recovering the body. The story that you said is the actual story is so horrible enough that you can’t think they’d be anything worse that could’ve happened. But then someone goes and makes this video with that caption which is about the only thing that could’ve been worse Than what really happened. If I had heard a red, what you posted was the real story and not seen this video first I truly wouldn’t have been able to think of a more horrible situation for that family and friends and I think it’s really devastating that someone made this video just to make people watch their video and spread false information, which is just terrifying. Thank you so much for sharing your knowledge about the situation. Prayers to any family that’s ever had to experience and endure this kind of loss.!

This is what makes me afraid to leave the house sometimes. this mother never forgave herself for not knowing the man face to face before having a party for the kids. it would be my guess that each parent in the neighborhood organized a part of the party each, unless of course the dad or one other person lined it up. Whatever or however, it had to be someone in the know, or they wouldn't have been able to show up and integrate into the reception. The odds of someone walking by and seeing it, is possible, but if that was the case,they'd have practiced this long enough to have a costume close by. so I stress: close by, crime of opportunity, well practiced or well planned, linked in some way to the area, extended family friends, or had experience in parties for kids .
I couldn’t imagine being a parents of a child thats missing and has never been found.The not knowing is what would kill me, at least if a body is found you can have some type of closure, but when you don’t find them there is no closure it’s a lifetime of suffering the unknown. I pray for every parent who is missing a child that they be found in some form or another so they can have some closure, and hopefully be able to pick up some of the pieces to help you through this horrible situation.
I cant even watch these videos. It makes me sick to my stomach when kids are involved in abuse, neglect, or abduction situations. Especially, knowing they had no chance to defend themselves. It makes my heart ache for them and their families. 😔💔
