When I was little in the 1950’s we had a chicken hawk fall down our chimney. He came out into the cellar thru the furnace flu and was flying all over the room. Our mother opened the basement windows and chased it with a broom until he landed on the window frame and she swatted it and it flew out. Never a dull moment on the country 👍🏼
That is funny. the rescuers held a flashlight in front of the owl so it could see, even though owls have excellent night vision, just like cats. 😆😃😁😂

I will nevrt forget that my really mean cat got caught into yhe two walls because they couldn't agree. we missed our cat on Thursday, looking all over for him .on Saturday the girl living across from us heard a voice and checked it out. we saw that. she found him traped between two walls on his back. at the end we had to call the FD to tore down the wall. none of these big guys would touch that cat out of the walls. when they finally broke down the wall my husband just picked up the cat and the cat said Hugh and relaxed. big guys being scared of cats. but I still love them.

Wow!!!! you know if you were to call my fire department for an emergency like this they would hang up on you and I know for a fact because I've had to and they told me to call somebody else. we have got actually the crappiest probably in our city to help with any animals and distress..

Glad the owl was rescued and is back in the woods. My cousins had bats invade their home because her husband left an unscreened window open. It took several animal control officers with huge nets to catch the bats and free them outside. The next day, all their windows had screens ordered and they were installed ASAP, lol
