Waitresses dont give themselves a gratuity unless you have a group over 6. Then it 18% of the bill. A 100 dollar gratuity means He had a bill of around 650.00

I'm also finding out recently some restaurants are adding gratuity to your bill period, regardless of people in your party. Everything changed after Covid-19 lockdown. Once businesses re-opened, Fee if you use a card, etc., etc
