I’ll never forget when the started charging a fee if your check baggage weighed more than 50 lbs. this one flight we were staying longer so I packed more clothing. My suitcase weighed 49.7 pounds. LOL. I had to repack my carryon and suitcase so the return trip would be uneventful.

Those staff at the gate cut a cut off the money that gets charged at the gate to check bags at last minute. Airlines like frontier and allegiance are not worth it. In the end you pay a lot more for your flight

yeah I remember having to pay $95 for extra bag cuz it barely didn't fit.. depending on price of that suit case it could be worth it.. especially if it's damaged already..
