I am a woman, a nurse, and in favor of breastfeeding. This exposing yourself to prove a point - showing your power over your environment, being in control, is somewhat juvenile. Yes breastfeeding is a natural act, we all get that!!! There are other variable in the equation - respecting those around you when in a public place - it is not about you proving your point. Yes it is natural, it is also natural for the world around us to view life through different lenses. Having sex is natural, you going to do that on the walking path or in a restaurant. This is all about flexing muscle, proving your point! Have the decency to cover up or find a private area.

I kind of agree. when my wife was breastfeeding she could breastfeed out in public just fine and nobody could see anything. most likely nobody would have even known. but it's these ones that like to make a huge spectacle of themselves or the ones that are making it a huge issue.
