Michigan has the worst roads in this country. The Michigan governor was voted in because she promised to "fix the dam roads!! She lied.

100 years? Oil based pavement rarely lasts 25 years, by 100 years it would be long gone.

America has too many springs aquifers and poor drainage plus the heavy weights driven over them they will be a gravel road in a few years.

This is the main reason. 1.Water seeps into small cracks. 2.Temperature drops below 32°F (0°C). 3.Water freezes and expands about 9%. 4.That expansion pushes the pavement apart. 5.When it melts, more water gets in — and the cycle repeats. Over time, this creates: •Cracks •Potholes •Surface breaking This is why places like Boston have so many potholes after winter.

no oil-based Road I don't care how much oil you spray on it and how much gravel you put there is going to last a hundred years be lucky if it lasts 25 years you need proof they have to redo train tracks all the time and most of them sit on a bed of gravel. the only way your roads last for 100 years if they're made of stone that's why Roman roads have lasted more than 100 years Stone and concrete is the only way to make a long lasting Road and obviously you have to have a very good base otherwise it doesn't matter how much Stone and concrete you pour

the only road that can last is the autoban cause it is 8 feet of concert. First earth quake and that Asphalt would Crack and break. It wouldn't survive 100 years. 🤔🤔🤔

If the ground underneath isn't compact to at least 95+ percent, it's going to make potholes 🙏 regardless what's on top!

That’s the way they should be doing it here natural ground using the right material. We could have roads that would last that long, but they don’t build the roads that way it takes work away from them in the future.

notice that he says that they put sand over it. The video shows gravel. This road will not support heavy loads, if it did, airports would use it.
