If he is leading and guiding and providing and helping and protecting and giving emotional support and being loving to his woman then he will get that respect from his woman

if you want respect and admiration be respectable and admirable. I cannot respect you if I am doing your job and mine as well and that's just how it goes👍

Men stand up and be a Man. Stop thinking being born male makes you a man. Men need to except responsibility of the problems in a relationship or marriage. Women are no longer slaves to Men this is not the cave man area. On social media along hear Men calling women B's and degrading them. Respect is due to each Human treat people the way you want to be treated. Check you first stop needing to be validated by other men or women know your worth🤔🤔

...there's a generation where -not all- but quite a few men who were NOT raised by their fathers... some have been - but, not enough! Not taught/influenced "traditional Man-Codes" by historically traditional men at all - not "Grands" nor Uncles, no Uncle-brother...not even a male family friend. How a gentleman behaves, being the breadwinner, how to "lead the household", how to be forceful - without being aggressive. When to be "quiet" - without being submissive. That role... the eye's image... that "leadership" has been taken over by a lot of women - many of whom were young/young/young and yet un-formed as a Woman herself when her baby(ies) were born. There is a very distinct difference between boys/men "raised" by a woman vs. boys/men "Raised" by a historically traditional man! 😲

My therapist hears the exact same thing from me (a wife). I refuse to respect where respect isn't given. I've never been a housewife, nor will I ever be. I was raised, then forced to be independent due to financial abuse. I refuse to speak to people who give me the silent treatment for MONTHS. I refuse to be manipulated. I refuse to follow anyone who isn't a leader. I also refuse to cook for anyone who will buy food & eat in front of me without concern that I'm hungry.

I can believe that in some cases Jeffrey but not all because I only can speak for myself now when I come in contact with any man I respect him it doesn't matter what his nationality is and I give most respect with high authority to our black men not because of what they experience in life because I am a part of them they are a part of me now if they think that they are not getting enough respect for me it's because they don't respect themselves and they want to be disrespectful to me in a process I respect men I respect our black men because I'm a part of the many a part of me I can't live with them and I can't live without them crossing over is not going to show me an uplift me and give me athletes on no level so in that being said stay with your kind stick with your kind and build with your kind

It is IMPERATIVE that you Respect your Man first before "love" which can be "lust" in disguise ❣️. Women can say some really nasty, mean, emasculating, hateful things to their man bc we can't fight them physically but we can use verbal abuse which is like a sucker punch to him. At least that was the way I used to be. So I'm saying what my experience was. Thank GOD it's changed.

I agree …HOWEVER … us women find it difficult to respect some men, when they are having to play both roles most of the time.

Respect is something you must first show yourself. You teach people how to treat you, especially when they mishandle you.

I was with you until you included independence as a bad thing. If you feel your woman is too independent, it usually means that you need to step up your game.

💯 if he is leading me by the true God's guidance. I will not entertain a fool, so that person wont have to worry about disrepect from me, but I will be lead by a true King.

A woman loses respect when a man fails to lead. When the woman is doing everything in the relationship and he is just there then yes the roles change very quickly and so does the respect.
