My girl is 6 and I got her as a puppy and she is just not a barker.... We are together 24/7 and she has not barked 20 times in 6 years.... Incredible

My dog does the same thing! If there is something "new" out there on our walk she has to let everyone for miles around know about it.

my lab does the same thing when he sees something "not in the right place". one morning it was a trash can that had just been blown into the road. dog kept stopping and turning around to make sure it wasn't following us

My 8lb terrier mix is hyper-vigilant about items along “his” walk path. An extra car, a new yard decoration, extra lights are items of great concern & must be warned of & investigated.

We had a German Shepherd when I was about 12 yrs old, and she barked at anything new or moved!! A vase of flowers, a baseball cap laying on the couch or chair, the boat facing front under the carport instead of backed in (dad pushed it in one time for some reason), a jacket out of place, etc. Mom always laughed and said to my brother and me that now we couldn't make a mess or the dog would rat us out!! I'm 66 now and never had another dog that was so attentive and observant! She was incredibly smart!!
My dog drives us crazy with "newly placed items". My neighbor 2 houses down planted trees & she saw the tips of the trees above their fence. And don't even think about hanging your coat on the back of a chair or rearranging furniture! nonstop barking😆

I had a Yorkie who would bark at anything different and the wind was always blowing things where I live. The trash blown into the yard? Fine. I’d pick it up, crisis adverted. The worst was Walmart bags stuck in the trees in the back yard. Couldn’t reach them to get them down. Made for some long days . 😂

my Queensland heeler once, 6 years ago, was teased by a black squirrel at a local park. it would run by her then up a tree just high enough... for about 30 minutes. to this day, we must to to that tree and its surrounds to look for that stupid squirrel.
What they find?
