I've been a Forensic interviewer for years. I have seen pedophiles come from all walks of life, rich, religious, poor and from all political backgrounds. I must agree that a cure doesn't exist other than sheer will power and thats rare. I am sorry for the children who have been harmed by anyone. their nightmares are so real

yeah well it happens my stepfather molested me at 10 I ran away he found me threatened me saying he would kill me if told, I did, but my mom did nothing, she just said get out of my face, then tried again wen I was 16 had my 1st child, he came in my room with my 6week old son next to me pulled down his pants and asked if I was ready, I then went to my mom's room and told her he was standing over me with his pants down, she came to my room and he was still there pants around his ankles DICC in hand, she just took him to her room and shut the door!! I've never gotten over that, it was devasting! I never told my brothers because I didn't want them to catch a felony charge of murder! so believe me yes it does happen, more than any1 likes to think

I was married 10 years to my wife when she tried to kill herself and I have no idea why I blame. Myself wasn’t until we got into therapy that I found out she had been molested by family members. The therapist explained this way it’s one drop at a time into a water balloon eventually it’s gonna pop thankfully she got help. We now have been married 45 years. I’m sorry for what happened to you. It’s real children are called angels for a reason cause you’re pure. They don’t have all the crap that society puts on them later in life and they need to be protected at all cost

The amount of people saying they don't believe her is an example of why abused people (female and male) don't come forward. Normally a pedophile or rapist is willing to admit they have an issue that needs help. Which is why they don’t change. To change one has to see they have a problem. Also alot of pedos (which is what they are trying to get passed into law now) is that they are born this way and it’s their preference not a mental illness or something they should be held reliable for. They think they are born like that and it’s normal. Which can’t be true because if it was normal 1 it wouldn’t be a crime in the first place and 2 they wouldn’t be concerned if the child told someone.

no there's no empathy or sympathy for pedophiles. they lie and try so hard to convince people that the one they are molesting are liars. I wanted to share my story but I deleted it. The things that happened to me I won't post it online. I personally know the pain anxiety panic and helplessness of being molested and assaulted. If she needs to tell her story to heal, Im so proud of her. The mess I experienced the trauma drama took me years to accept I was left emotionally scared. May you find peace. And may the abusers never find peace.
