I got my closure when I left. The door was slowly closing and he didn't see it. I won't preach that closure should have already happened if she marrying someine else. I dont know the circumstances of why they broke up initially. Did they grow lose a child, grow apart, or just not meant to be. its ok to mourn past relationships and put the final nail in the coffin. if he future husband is there, it's because he knows she needs him.
