he didn't mind as long as he was making money.....pathetic
niiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiicccccaaaa
I never kissed ass for money! I won 3 Federal Discrimination cases!
Muhammad Ali stood on principal over money, to each his own I guess.
All I got to say to this is...
This man was and is one of our greatest inspirations and heroes. The Great Tony Atlas!!!!!
Shameful! Allowed himself to be disgraced for money! A minstrel for money. I grew up in the deep south & wouldn't allow anyone to call me such a vile & disgusting word. Sold his soul! Disgusting!
I was better off, not learning this about him. As a boy, I admired him. The last time money was the only thing that determined if something was acceptable, men like us were considered 3/5 human. His mom raised a "free slave", who thought he was getting paid, but instead, was being BOUGHT. PATHETIC.
Regardless of any of it, I'm a good judge character. And it seems like that man's got a beautiful soul. And he wasn't letting anything stand in his way, for surviving, even better than most white men in his time. But it is sad that he had to here disrespectful s*** like that from disrespectful people
Sell out. Wrestling is full of low IQ and poorly educated muscle necks.
yes you were making money but you still deserve your respect🤔
it was called "TOMMIN" back then!
Tony Atlas was/is a complicated man he battled his demons and seems like the latter part is turning into the best part of his life. He chose the path of being a pro wrestler and it seems he consciously knew what he was dealing with. We judge him based on our current way of living where we have outlets agencies and cancel culture where others have stood tall and said enough. Some were in a position that if they did they could still support their families while others felt the pressure of losing everything. The standard had to be challenged in order for change it’s the fact that what you accept is what someone will give you yes he made good money but his money and platform was lessened because he viewed them as his source and let that carrot they dangled in front of him determine his path. I can’t say how it feels to be in his shoes but I can’t say imagine it was not the best of times for him outside the money and bright lights and shame on those who he gave money to who never told him a
I grew up watching Tony Atlas 👍🏽
money over a word...... smart man
no different with rappers that's promoting the word to the world for money 🤔
racism was overt back then..no laws to protect us like it is today. Even Greg Valentine called Tony Atlas a black spot...never forgotten that
im in a similar situation, just make your money and do better than them. they hate it when you make better decisions than them
I met him in person as a kid in my apartment complex. Helped him take some items in his building and all the damn trophies around the living room was amazing 💥
So sad...he was pretty much bought. 🥹🥹
At that time that was big money
And u let them do it speak yourself my guy .
And that folks is the reason for the downfall. Mothers misdirection. " Pick your battles, you making money". MLK and the brothers that fought and died in the struggle were disregarded , by " mommy and daddy". Then when the money js gone, now what? It is like the concept of " fear and respect". If a man leads with respect, then he will always be respected, but when he leads with fear, what happens when you stop being afraid .
names don't hurt men 👍 I bet if anyone put their hands on him back then outside of the ring it would've been a different story
That word doesn't mean anything today.
Best wrestler in the world!! 👏🏼👏🏼❤️ 💯
Sound like he sold his soul for a lil piece of the white mans gold 😳
that's a real man.... words hurt boys not men
🥺😡
Yeah Tony was so free hearted so believe hm when he say he gave it away!! To nice of a guy !!!!
Respect

I like Tony Atlas a lot. He was a great professional wrestler and body builder 💪💪🏆🔥💯👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
He was a big star.
But who are the racist names that you call the people calling you names see their no better.
This was my guy growing up 💪🏾💯👑

Emotional Intelligence is not allowing his emotions to lose his bag.
One of the best wrestlers ever.👍
Always had madd respect for tony atlas...good person he is
Keep ya bread cuz um punching u in the face over the word cuz I rather die on my feet than live on my knees

Tony Atlas great wrestler 👍👍👍👍
that's a damb shame. im sorry brother. that's not cool. I hate that term, I only laugh when Dave Chappelle says it. its so funny.
Tony Atlas was at the top. Lost everything and is happier now than ever.
